The present invention relates to the field of in vitro methods of inducing maturation of immature human pluripotent stem cell derived neurons into fully mature, electrically active neurons. The presently disclosed subject matter also provides for cells generated by such methods and uses of such cells for drug discovery purposes and/or treating neurodegenerative disorders.[French]
La présente invention concerne le domaine des procédés in vitro d'induction de la maturation de neurones issus de cellules souches pluripotentes humaines immatures en neurones électriquement actifs entièrement matures.
