Latvia general info

Latvia (official name the Republic of Latvia) is located in the Baltic region of Northern Europe. Latvia borders Estonia to the North, Lithuania to the South, Russia to the East and Belarus to the Southeast, and it shares a maritime border to the West with Sweden. With the territory of 64,589 km², Latvia is one of the least populous countries of the European Union.
