Abstract[English]
A reusable menstrual cup device can have an applicator for the purpose of insertion into the vaginal canal and a string or cord coupled to the body of the menstrual cup to improve the removal from the vaginal canal. The string or cord can be attached to a loop on a distal end of the menstrual cup body. In other embodiments, an elongated link can be coupled to the interior or exterior of the upper rim of the menstrual cup. Pulling the elongated link can cause the interior or exterior wall of the menstrual cup to buckle and break the seal in the vaginal canal without manual manipulation. The applicator comprises a syringe barrel to house the menstrual cup, a plunger to push the menstrual cup out, and a curved end to mitigate discomfort during the insertion process into the vaginal canal.[French]
