The Pediatric Invasive Pictorial Shield is a device designed to reduce negative emotions such as pain, stress, and fear experienced by children during clinical procedures, including blood sampling and other invasive interventions. The device is designed to be worn around the upper arm, produced using 3D printing technology, and features pictorial illustrations on its front surface. During the procedure, the child's attention is diverted by asking questions related to the pictures, reducing the child's focus on the medical process. The device is suitable for children aged 6 to 10 years. It can be used in hospitals and is suitable for mass production using 3D printers.[French]
L'écran pictural pour procédures pédiatriques invasives est un dispositif conçu pour réduire les émotions négatives telles que la douleur, le stress et la peur rencontrés par les enfants pendant des procédures cliniques, y compris le prélèvement sanguin et d'autres interventions invasives. Le dispositif est conçu pour être porté autour du bras, produit à l'aide d'une technologie d'impression 3D, et présente des illustrations picturales sur sa surface avant.
