Abstract[English]
The present invention refers to a novel crystalline polymorphic form of cabozantinib hemifumarate sesquihydrate designated as Form A, a novel crystalline polymorphic form of cabozantinib hemifumarate hemipentahydrate designated as Form B and a process for their preparation, a pharmaceutical composition comprising Form A or Form B, and their use for the the treatment of patients with progressive, metastatic medullary thyroid cancer (MTC) and for the treatment of patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC) who have received prior antiangiogenic therapy treatment of cancer.[French]
La présente invention concerne une nouvelle forme polymorphe cristalline de cabozantinib hémifumarate sesquihydrate désignée comme Forme A, une nouvelle forme polymorphe cristalline de cabozantinib hémifumarate hémipentahydrate désignée comme Forme B et un procédé pour leur préparation, une composition pharmaceutique comprenant la Forme A ou la Forme B, et leur utilisation pour le traitement de patients atteints d'un cancer médullaire de la thyroïde (CMT) progressif et métastatique et pour le traitement de patients atteints d'un carcinome rénal à cellules claires (CRCC) avancé ayant reçu un traitement antérieur par thérapie antiangiogénique.
