Abstract[English]
A method and a device for preventing onion tear along with accompanying undesirable sensations such as burning and stinging, that is caused when the onion cells are damaged, regardless of the method being cutting, slicing etc. Method involves the steps of pulling the air that is filled with a tear causing compound before it reaches to humans, released from the onion, using a fan; filtering the compound using a filter; releasing the air, which is free of the tear-causing compound. Device includes a fan and a filter in combination with the fan, when powered, performs the method of preventing onion tear. The teachings of the invention can be applied to embodiments targeted for consumer usage and embodiments targeted for industrial usage.[French]
Procédé et un dispositif destiner à empêcher le larmoiement dû aux oignons, ainsi que les sensations indésirables associées telles que les brûlures et les picotements qui sont provoqués lorsque les cellules d'oignon sont endommagées, indépendamment du procédé de coupe, de tranchage, etc. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à aspirer l'air rempli d'un composé provoquant le larmoiement libéré par l'oignon avant qu'il n'atteigne des êtres humains en utilisant un ventilateur; à filtrer le composé en utilisant un filtre; à libérer l'air qui est exempt du composé provoquant le larmoiement. Le dispositif comprend un ventilateur et un filtre en combinaison avec le ventilateur, lorsqu'il est alimenté, et exécute le procédé de prévention du larmoiement dû à l'oignon. Les enseignements de l'invention peuvent être appliqués à des modes de réalisation ciblés pour être utilisés par des consommateurs et des modes de réalisation ciblés pour une utilisation industrielle.
