Abstract[English]
The device is intended for use in the laboratory measurement of the digestibility of feeds and their fractions in solutions with the rumen content of ruminants ("in vitro" measurement method). The IN VITRO RUMEN CONTENT STIRRER (further: stirrer) is a simple collapsible device that can be very easily inserted into and removed from an in vitro fermenter. The movement of the stirrer and the mixing of the rumen content itself are very gentle and enable conditions very close to native rumen digestion to be created. The drive of the stirrer is contactless by means of a rotating arm with magnets.[French]
Appareil destiné à être utilisé pour mesurer en laboratoire la digestibilité des aliments et de leurs fractions dans des solutions contenant le contenu du rumen des ruminants (procédé de mesure "in vitro"). L'agitateur pour contenu de rumen in vitro est un dispositif simple et pliable qui peut être très facilement inséré dans un fermenteur in vitro et en être retiré. Le mouvement de l'agitateur et le mélange du contenu du rumen lui-même sont très légers et permettent de créer des conditions très proches de la digestion native du rumen. L'entraînement de l'agitateur se fait sans contact au moyen d'un bras rotatif équipé d'aimants.
