Abstract[English]
Embodiments are disclosed for a range-gated imager. In some embodiments, a method comprises: transmitting, with a single-tone continuous wave (STCW) radar, a signal; receiving, with the STCW radar, a return signal from a projectile impinged by the radar signal; counting, with a measuring apparatus, a specified number of periods of non-ambiguity range based on the return signal, performing a flashing operation; and gating or triggering, by the measuring apparatus, an imager to capture an image of the projectile in response to the count reaching the specified number of periods.[French]
L'invention concerne des modes de réalisation d'un imageur à crénelage spatial. Dans certains modes de réalisation, un procédé comprend : la transmission, à l'aide d'un radar à onde entretenue à signal audio unique (STCW), d'un signal ; la réception, à l'aide du radar STCW, d'un signal de retour provenant d'un projectile frappé par le signal radar ; le comptage, à l'aide d'un appareil de mesure, d'un nombre déterminé de périodes de portée non ambiguë sur la base du signal de retour, et la réalisation d'une opération de clignotement ; et le déclenchement ou l'activation, par l'appareil de mesure, d'un imageur pour capturer une image du projectile en réponse au comptage atteignant le nombre déterminé de périodes.
