Abstract[English]
A rotary motion conversion mechanism is disclosed for precisely controlling rotation of a support member in a solar panel mounting system A body with one or more annular channels houses a tensioned wire, secured at multiple anchor points, to transmit rotational force. Locking members maintain the wire under tension, allowing smooth rotation and reduced slippage. Optional features include an adjustable clamp for repositioning along the support member, a spring-based extension assembly to absorb wind-induced loads, and a release mechanism to disengage upon excessive torque. Multiple wires may be looped independently around the mechanism for coordinated motion of several panels. Additional provisions, such as friction-enhancing surfaces and sacrificial breakable loops, ensure reliable operation and protect against overloading in windy conditions.[French]
L'invention concerne un mécanisme de conversion de mouvement rotatif permettant de commander avec précision la rotation d'un élément de support dans un système de montage de panneau solaire. Un corps avec un ou plusieurs canaux annulaires loge un fil tendu, fixé au niveau de multiples points d'ancrage, pour transmettre une force de rotation. Des éléments de verrouillage maintiennent le fil sous tension, ce qui permet une rotation régulière et un glissement réduit. Des éléments optionnels comprennent une pince réglable permettant un repositionnement le long de l'élément de support, un ensemble d'extension à ressort pour absorber des charges induites par le vent, et un mécanisme de déverrouillage pour une libération en cas de couple excessif. De multiples fils peuvent être bouclés indépendamment autour du mécanisme pour un mouvement coordonné de plusieurs panneaux.
