Abstract[English]
There is provided a cutting device comprising a base comprising bainite, and a multilayered coating present on the base, wherein said multilayered coating comprises several periods comprising at least two coating layers, of which at least one comprises chromium. Layers of pure chromium, chromium carbide or chromium nitride may be present. The coated cutting device has an excellent wear resistance and stay sharp properties. There is also provided a method for manufacturing such the cutting device, comprising the steps of providing a base comprising bainite and/or martensite, and forming a multilayered coating on the surface using PVD.[French]
L'invention concerne un dispositif de coupe comprenant une base comprenant de la bainite, et un revêtement multicouches présent sur la base, ledit revêtement multicouches comprenant plusieurs périodes comprenant au moins deux couches de revêtement, dont au moins une comprend du chrome. Des couches de chrome pur, de carbure de chrome ou de nitrure de chrome peuvent être présentes. Le dispositif de coupe revêtu présente d'excellentes propriétés de résistance à l'usure et de maintien du tranchant. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'un tel dispositif de coupe, comprenant les étapes consistant à fournir une base comprenant de la bainite et/ou de la martensite, et à former un revêtement multicouches sur la surface à l'aide de PVD.
