Abstract[English]
A mixed flow water jet pump used for propulsion in boats and other water borne craft. The jet pump may be a fixed assembly or alternatively in part comprise an intake section and flexible intake section extension allowing a trimming function and where the primary input drive shaft does not pass through the intake section of the jet pump. The jet pump drive may comprise a dual or single input drive shaft system where the dual input drive train allows for much greater power delivery to the pump while maintaining reliability. The jet pump may have a sterndrive or outboard configuration using internal combustion engines or electric motors as the primary driving means.[French]
La présente invention concerne une pompe à jet d'eau à écoulement mixte utilisée pour la propulsion dans des bateaux et d'autres engins nautiques. La pompe à jet peut être un ensemble fixe ou en variante comprendre en partie une section d'admission et une extension de section d'admission flexible permettant une fonction d'ébavurage et l'arbre d'entraînement d'entrée primaire ne passant pas à travers la section d'admission de la pompe à jet. L'entraînement de pompe à jet peut comprendre un système d'arbre d'entraînement à entrée double ou unique, le train d'entraînement à double entrée permettant une distribution d'énergie beaucoup plus grande à la pompe tout en maintenant la fiabilité.
