Abstract[English]
The present invention relates to a medical device for preserving a prosthetic breast implant in the event of post-surgical infection. The device is configured to ensure effective and homogeneous irrigation of the mammary pocket while simultaneously maintaining the original reconstruction volume and preventing tissue collapse. Said device comprises structural elements adapted to support the breast chamber atraumatically and distribution means allowing a 360-degree washing action. The invention thereby enables the salvage of the prosthetic implant without requiring removal, thus overcoming the limitations of conventional irrigation techniques.[French]
La présente invention se réfère à un dispositif médical pour préserver un implant mammaire prothétique en cas d'infection post-chirurgicale. Le dispositif est conçu pour assurer une irrigation efficace et homogène de la poche mammaire tout en maintenant simultanément le volume de reconstruction d'origine et en empêchant un affaissement tissulaire. Ledit dispositif comprend des éléments structurels conçus soutenir la chambre du sein de manière atraumatique et un moyen de distribution permettant une action de lavage sur 360 degrés. L'invention permet par conséquent d'épargner l'implant prothétique sans nécessiter le retrait de celui-ci, et de surmonter ainsi les limitations de techniques d'irrigation classiques.
