Abstract[English] The present invention relates to a system (100) and method (200) for immobilizing a vehicle (10). The system (100) has a Battery Management System (BMS) module (110) configured to be connected to one or more battery packs (120). The system (100) has a Telematics Control Unit (TCU) (130) configured to receive an input from a remote server (150) corresponding to an immobilization request. The system (100) has a Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) (140) configured to be connected to the BMS module (110) and the TCU (130). The VCU (140) is further configured to receive the input from the TCU (130), thereby immobilizing the vehicle (10).[French] La présente invention concerne un système (100) et un procédé (200) pour immobiliser un véhicule (10). Le système (100) comprend un module de système de gestion de batterie (BMS) (110) configuré pour être connecté à un ou à plusieurs blocs-batteries (120).
