Abstract[English]
The present invention relates to a system (100) and a method (200) for preventing theft of a vehicle (10). The system comprises a control unit (102) and an anti-theft device (105). The anti-theft device (105) comprises a detection unit (106) and an alert unit (108). The control unit (102) is configured to receive a user input through an external device (104) and activate the detection unit (106) upon the user input being indicative of a vehicle lock condition. The detection unit (106) is configured to detect one or more variations in the vehicle (10) and determine whether the one or more variations exceeds one or more pre-set variation thresholds. The alert unit (108) is configured to be activated by the detection unit (106) to raise one or more alerts upon determination of the detected one or more variations exceeding the one or more pre-set variation thresholds.[French]
La présente invention concerne un système (100) et un procédé (200) pour empêcher le vol d'un véhicule (10). Le système comprend une unité de commande (102) et un dispositif antivol (105).
