Abstract[English]
The Oppie Box is a renewable intelligent power manager system which transfers and differentiates renewable and other energy in an intelligent way between the main (usually petroleum or gas grid) to a renewable minigrid and battery system in order to efficiently conserve and store energy in high-energy use customers, particularly in critical infrastructure, while reducing electric grid burdens for communities. The main aim of this device is to enable efficient use of both main grid and renewable energy sourced electricity, optimize energy usage and storage, and predict and mitigate the impact of energy shortages. The device works to manage intelligently how loads are powered by any source.[French]
Le boîtier Oppie est un système de gestion d'énergie intelligent renouvelable qui transfère et différencie une énergie renouvelable et une autre énergie d'une manière intelligente entre le réseau d'alimentation secteur (généralement pétrole ou gaz) et un système de batterie et miniréseau d'énergie renouvelable afin de conserver et de stocker efficacement de l'énergie chez des clients à forte consommation d'énergie, en particulier dans une infrastructure critique, tout en réduisant les charges sur le réseau électrique pour des collectivités. Le but principal de ce dispositif est de permettre une utilisation efficace à la fois de l'électricité issue d'une source d'énergie renouvelable et du réseau d'alimentation secteur, d'optimiser l'usage et le stockage de l'énergie, et de prédire et d'atténuer l'impact d'une pénurie d'énergie.
