An apparatus includes at least one processor; and at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to perform at least: providing, in a bitstream, an information message comprising metadata associated with multiple ordered display overlays within the bitstream, wherein a target picture is formable by overlaying the multiple ordered display overlays within the bitstream according to a specified order, and wherein the information message within the bitstream comprises an indication that the target picture has an alpha channel.[French]
