A method, apparatus, and computer program product are provided. The method includes determining a size of a physical uplink channel (PUSCH) allocation of a transport block (TB) carrying a buffer status report (BSR). The method further includes selecting a size profile-based BSR format based on the size of the PUSCH allocation of the TB carrying the BSR, where selecting the size profile-based BSR format includes a bin size selection based on a likely range of buffer size levels reported. The method includes transmitting, to a network node, the BSR in the selected size profile-based BSR format.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé, un appareil et un produit programme d'ordinateur. Le procédé consiste à déterminer une taille d'une attribution de canal physique partagé montant (PUSCH) d'un bloc de transport (TB) portant un rapport d'état de tampon (BSR). Le procédé consiste en outre à sélectionner un format BSR basé sur un profil de taille sur la base de la taille de l'attribution PUSCH du TB portant le BSR, la sélection du format BSR basé sur un profil de taille comprenant une sélection de taille de bin sur la base d'une plage probable de niveaux de taille de tampon rapportés. Le procédé consiste à transmettre, à un nœud de réseau, le BSR dans le format BSR basé sur un profil de taille sélectionné.
