Abstract[English] Provided herein are biodegradable, superabsorbent polymers (SAPs) and hydrogels, methods of preparing the same, and articles of manufacture comprising the superabsorbent polymer or hydrogels. The superabsorbent polymer and hydrogels comprise a poly(aspartic acid) polymer crosslinked with one or more crosslinking agents and can be used to prepare articles of manufacture, such as diapers, sanitary pads, incontinence products, bandages, wound dressings, surgical pads, pet pads, bed pads, meat pads, and agricultural products.[French] L'invention concerne des polymères superabsorbants biodégradables (SAP) et des hydrogels, leurs procédés de préparation, et des articles manufacturés comprenant le polymère superabsorbant ou les hydrogels.
