Abstract[English]
Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) therapy relies on self-adhesive electrode assemblies positioned on opposite sides of the subject's body to induce an alternating electric field in a target region of the subject's body. But in certain situations, it can be difficult to remove the electrode assemblies from the subject's body. Removal can be facilitated by incorporating a cord or cable affixed near the periphery of the electrode assembly, e.g., at a corner of the electrode assembly. And this cord or cable is used to peel the electrode assembly away from the subject's body. Removal can also be facilitated by incorporating one or more threads configured to slide between the front face of the electrode assembly and the subject's skin to break the adhesive grip that holds a portion of the electrode assembly to the skin.[French]
L'invention concerne une thérapie par champs électriques de faible intensité (TTFields) qui repose sur des ensembles électrodes auto-adhésifs positionnés sur des côtés opposés du corps du sujet pour induire un champ électrique alternatif dans une région cible du corps du sujet. Mais dans certaines situations, il peut être difficile de retirer les ensembles électrodes du corps du sujet.
