Abstract[English]
A refrigerated shipping container having an integrated sustainable energy generation capability, comprises: a plurality of inner surfaces; a plurality of outer surfaces; a plurality of photovoltaic (PV) solar panel arrays; a plurality of receiving elements mounted to at least a portion of at least one of the outer surfaces, wherein the receiving elements are adapted to accept and secure the PV solar panel arrays to the outer surface; at least one rechargeable battery; a refrigeration unit; a shock-absorbing mechanism located between the receiving elements and the plurality of PV solar panel arrays; and a stowing mechanism mounted to at least one outer surface of the plurality of outer surfaces; and at least one insulation board coupled to at least a portion of at least one of the plurality of inner surfaces.[French]
