Abstract[English]
A pharmaceutical composition for treatment of psoriasis is disclosed in the present invention. The pharmaceutical composition is a plant extract rich in bioactive constituents and applied topically for psoriasis treatment without any adverse effects. The present invention also provides a method for obtaining the extract and identifies various uses of the extract as a medicament in both human and veterinary therapy. Specifically, a 1.4% concentration of the bioactive extract has been shown to prevent the formation of psoriasis plaques when applied topically and 3.7% extract was found to clear psoriatic scales after 8 days of application topically Fig. 1A[French]
La présente invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique pour le traitement du psoriasis. La composition pharmaceutique est un extrait végétal riche en constituants bioactifs et appliqué par voie topique pour le traitement du psoriasis sans effets indésirables. La présente invention concerne également un procédé d'obtention de l'extrait et identifie diverses utilisations de l'extrait en tant que médicament à la fois dans une thérapie humaine et vétérinaire. En particulier, il a été montré qu'une concentration à 1,4 % de l'extrait bioactif pouvait empêcher la formation de plaques de psoriasis lors d'une application topique, et il s'est avéré qu'un extrait à 3,7 % d'extrait éliminait les squames de psoriasis après 8 jours d'application topique.
