Abstract[English]
A user device determines based on a received reference signal from a network node, channel information. The user device further applies as an input to an artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) model, the channel information. The user device then determines, based on an output of the AI/ML model, whether to measure an upcoming positioning reference signal (PRS) transmitted by the network node. The user device in response to the determination to measure the upcoming PRS performs a positioning measurement based on the upcoming PRS and then the user device transmits to the network node the positioning measurement.[French]
Un dispositif d'utilisateur détermine, sur la base d'un signal de référence reçu en provenance d'un nœud de réseau, des informations de canal. Le dispositif d'utilisateur applique en outre les informations de canal en tant qu'entrée à un modèle d'intelligence artificielle et d'apprentissage automatique (IA/ML). Le dispositif d'utilisateur détermine ensuite, sur la base d'une sortie du modèle IA/ML, s'il faut ou non mesurer un signal de référence de positionnement (PRS) à venir transmis par le nœud de réseau.
