An electrochemical device, including: a rotating assembly, including: a membrane electrode assembly (MEA) having an anode, a cathode, and a membrane disposed between the anode and the cathode and separating the anode from the cathode, and an outer casing located around the MEA; and a shaft coupled to the rotating assembly and configured to rotate the rotating assembly via rotation of the shaft, wherein the shaft extends through the rotating assembly and includes a first port formed therethrough, wherein the first port is at least part of a flow path configured to introduce liquid into the rotating assembly.[French]
