Abstract[English]
Presented herein are techniques to deliver both electrical stimulation and vibrational stimulation to a recipient of a medical device such as a hearing device. A method can include delivering electrical stimulation to a recipient via a plurality of electrical stimulation contacts disposed on a carrier of a stimulating assembly and causing a pressure wave to be generated by the carrier within the recipient without introducing consequential movement of the plurality of electrical stimulation contacts relative to tissue of the recipient.[French]
