Disclosed herein are mosaic avian influenza (e.g., H5N1) proteins or fragments thereof. Also disclosed herein are nucleic acid constructs, avian influenza vaccine vectors, avian influenza vaccines, host cells, pharmaceutical compositions, and kits comprising the mosaic avian influenza (e.g., H5N1) proteins or fragments thereof. Also disclosed herein are methods of eliciting an immune response in a subject and methods of preventing, reducing the incidence of, attenuating, or treating avian influenza infection in a subject in need thereof.[French]
