Abstract[English]
A thermoplastic composition comprises: a poly(arylene ether) composition comprising a poly(arylene ether) and optionally, a poly(arylene ether siloxane); one or more hydrogenated block copolymers derived from an alkenyl aromatic monomer comprising styrene and a conjugated diene, an organophosphorus flame retardant present in an amount effective to provide at least 0.9 wt% phosphorus, based on the total weight of the thermoplastic composition; wherein a sample of the composition has a laser transmittance of greater than 10% at a wavelength of 980 nm and a sample thickness of 2.0 mm, a UL94 5VA rating at a thickness of 2.0 mm, a UL94 5VB rating at a thickness of 2.0 mm, and a UL94 rating of V0 at a thickness of 1.5 mm or less, and an f1 rating according to the UL746C standard, and wherein the composition comprises 0 to 1000 ppm carbon black. The thermoplastic compositions are suitable for laser welding.[French]
L'invention concerne une composition thermoplastique comprenant : une composition de poly(arylène éther) comprenant un poly(arylène éther) et éventuellement un poly(arylène éther siloxane) ; un ou plusieurs copolymères séquencés hydrogénés dérivés d'un monomère aromatique alcényle comprenant du styrène et un diène conjugué, un retardateur de flamme organophosphoré présent en une quantité efficace pour fournir au moins 0,9 % en poids de phosphore, sur la base du poids total de la composition thermoplastique ; un échantillon de la composition ayant une transmittance laser supérieure à 10 % à une longueur d'onde de 980 nm et une épaisseur d'échantillon de 2,0 mm, une classification UL94 5VA à une épaisseur de 2,0 mm, une classification UL94 5VB à une épaisseur de 2,0 mm, et une classification UL94 de V0 à une épaisseur de 1,5 mm ou moins, et une classification f1 selon la norme UL746C, et la composition comprenant 0 à 1 000 ppm de noir de carbone.
