An electronic device and a method for content moderation is disclosed. The electronic device receives multimedia content and content metadata associated with segments of the multimedia content from a second electronic device. The electronic device determines context information for each segment based on the content metadata. The electronic device receives region-specific profanity information and sensor data associated with a user present in proximity of the electronic device. The electronic device determines profile information based on the sensor data. The electronic device applies a content moderation model on the segments based on the context information, region-specific profanity information, and profile information. The electronic device selects unsuitable segments for the user based on the applied content moderation model. The electronic device determines moderated media content based on the multimedia content and unsuitable segments. The electronic device controls a user device to render the moderated media content.[French]
L'invention divulgue un dispositif électronique et un procédé de modération de contenu. Le dispositif électronique reçoit un contenu multimédia et des métadonnées de contenu associées à des segments du contenu multimédia en provenance d'un second dispositif électronique.
