Abstract[English]
A system and method for decreasing fouling inside an intercooler are provided. An exemplary system includes an intercooler that includes an inlet from a stage in a compressor, a tube bank, and an outlet to a suction drum for a succeeding stage. The system also includes a pair of nozzles disposed on opposite sides of an inlet pipe to the intercooler, and an atomizer mounted in each nozzle, wherein the atomizer injects a wash oil into the inlet of intercooler in a flared spray pattern that extends from each atomizer.[French]
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé pour diminuer l'encrassement à l'intérieur d'un refroidisseur intermédiaire. Un système donné à titre d'exemple comprend un refroidisseur intermédiaire qui comporte une entrée depuis un étage dans un compresseur, un banc de tubes et une sortie vers un tambour d'aspiration pour un étage suivant. Le système comprend également une paire de buses disposées sur des côtés opposés d'un tuyau d'entrée vers le refroidisseur intermédiaire, et un atomiseur monté dans chaque buse, l'atomiseur injectant une huile de lavage dans l'entrée de refroidisseur intermédiaire selon un motif de pulvérisation évasé qui s'étend à partir de chaque atomiseur.
