Abstract[English]
The present disclosure provides a quick lock nut assembly for coupling to a threaded rod including a nut having opposite axial ends, an axis extending through the opposite axial ends, and an axial opening extending along the axis and through the opposite axial ends. At least an axial portion of the axial opening is threaded to enable the nut to threadably engage the threaded rod. The nut includes first and second nut portions each having opposite axial ends. At least the second nut portion is selectively movable relative to the first nut portion in a laterally outward direction relative to the axis to enable respective threads of the nut and the threaded rod to disengage when a suitable axial force is applied to the nut in either axial direction so that the nut can be moved longitudinally along the threaded rod in either longitudinal direction.[French]
La présente divulgation concerne un ensemble écrou à verrouillage rapide destiné à être accouplé à une tige filetée comprenant un écrou comportant des extrémités axiales opposées, un axe s'étendant à travers les extrémités axiales opposées, et une ouverture axiale s'étendant le long de l'axe et à travers les extrémités axiales opposées. Au moins une partie axiale de l'ouverture axiale est filetée pour permettre à l'écrou de venir en prise par filetage avec la tige filetée.
