Abstract[English]
An applicator for gripping and removing a dry ocular health product from a storage container and for placing the removed dry ocular health product on the eye of a patient, the applicator comprising: - a handling portion for handling the applicator; and - a tip portion connected to the handling portion, wherein at least a tip portion of the applicator is made from an electrostatically chargeable material to make the dry ocular health product adhere to the tip portion due to electrostatic forces exerted by the tip portion of the applicator on the dry ocular health product, and for subsequently releasing the dry ocular health product from the tip portion on the eye of the patient by means of attraction forces caused by a tear film in the eye of the patient.[French]
Applicateur pour saisir et retirer un produit de santé oculaire sec d'un récipient de stockage et pour placer le produit de santé oculaire sec retiré sur l'œil d'un patient, l'applicateur comprenant : une partie de manipulation pour manipuler l'applicateur ; et une partie pointe reliée à la partie de manipulation, au moins une partie pointe de l'applicateur étant constituée d'un matériau pouvant être chargé électrostatiquement pour faire adhérer le produit de santé oculaire sec à la partie pointe au moyen de forces électrostatiques exercées par la partie pointe de l'applicateur sur le produit de santé oculaire sec, et pour libérer ensuite le produit de santé oculaire sec de la partie pointe sur l'œil du patient au moyen de forces d'attraction provoquées par un film lacrymal dans l'œil du patient.
