A method includes receiving by a user device from a network node, information for selecting a random access class for the device, wherein each random access class is associated with one or more random access parameters, selecting the random access class based on the information, and transmitting uplink data to the network node, based on the one or more random access parameters associated with the selected random access class.[French]
