Abstract[English]
A system and method for content item retrieval and display across a distributed computing network are provided. The method includes, in response to detecting, in a sensor data stream received from a sensor located at a first physical location within an environment, an object within the environment, extracting, from the sensor data stream, identification data elements which uniquely identify the object and processing the identification data elements to generate an object signature which uniquely identifies the object. The method includes extracting, from the sensor data stream, a classification data element usable in classifying the object into a class of objects. The method includes using one or both of the object signature and classification data element to retrieve a content item. The method includes outputting the content item to an end-user via a display located at the first physical location within the environment.[French]
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de récupération et d'affichage d'éléments de contenu sur l'ensemble d'un réseau informatique distribué. Le procédé comprend, en réponse à la détection, dans un flux de données de capteur reçu en provenance d'un capteur situé au niveau d'un premier emplacement physique dans un environnement, d'un objet dans l'environnement, l'extraction, à partir du flux de données de capteur, d'éléments de données d'identification qui identifient de manière unique l'objet et le traitement des éléments de données d'identification pour générer une signature d'objet qui identifie de manière unique l'objet.
