Abstract[English]
An apparatus (100) for optimizing an optical energy transfer in laser particle acceleration, the apparatus comprising: an optical input (110) for receiving a pulsed laser beam (10) from a laser source (20); a primary mirror (120) arranged in an optical path of the pulsed laser beam (10) to reflect a main portion of the pulsed laser beam as main pulses (12); at least one secondary mirror (130) arranged in the optical path of the pulsed laser beam to reflect a remaining portion of the pulsed laser beam as pre-pulses (14); and a moving device (150) adapted to move the at least one secondary mirror relative to the primary mirror to vary an optical length for the pre-pulses compared to an optical length of the main pulses to allow the pre-pulses to arrive at the target before the main pulses to optimize the optical energy transfer to ions accelerated from the target.[French]
L'invention concerne un appareil (100) permettant d'optimiser un transfert d'énergie optique dans une accélération de particules laser, l'appareil comprenant : une entrée optique (110) conçue pour recevoir un faisceau laser pulsé (10) à partir d'une source laser (20) ; un miroir primaire (120) disposé dans un trajet optique du faisceau laser pulsé (10) pour réfléchir une partie principale du faisceau laser pulsé en tant qu'impulsions principales (12) ; au moins un miroir secondaire (130) disposé dans le trajet optique du faisceau laser pulsé pour réfléchir une partie restante du faisceau laser pulsé en tant que pré-impulsions (14) ; et un dispositif de déplacement (150) conçu pour déplacer ledit au moins un miroir secondaire par rapport au miroir primaire afin de faire varier une longueur optique pour les pré-impulsions par rapport à une longueur optique des impulsions principales pour permettre aux pré-impulsions d'arriver à la cible avant les impulsions principales en vue d'optimiser le transfert d'énergie optique vers des ions accélérés depuis la cible.
