Abstract[English]
Provided herein are methods for detecting inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) or risk of IBD in a canine based on the canine's gut microbiome. Also provided are methods for treating or preventing IBD in canines. Finally provided are probiotic compositions that are used in the methods of the present disclosure.[French]
L'invention concerne des méthodes de détection d'une maladie intestinale inflammatoire (IBD) ou d'un risque d'IBD chez un canidé sur la base du microbiome intestinal du canidé. L'invention concerne également des méthodes de traitement ou de prévention de l'IBD chez les canidés. L'invention concerne enfin des compositions probiotiques qui sont utilisées dans les procédés de la présente invention.
