Abstract[English]
Presented herein are techniques for adjusting or manipulating settings of a recipient device using an independent display terminal having a temporary wireless connection, rather than using a paired mobile device with a persistent wireless link. More specifically, according to certain aspects presented herein, wireless communications technologies are leveraged to provide an interactive device-specific interface for enabling a recipient to control operational settings of the recipient device using the independent display terminal. In certain embodiments, the independent display terminal establishes a second temporary wireless connection with a remote server. In other embodiments, the recipient device establishes a second wireless connection with the remote server.[French]
L'invention concerne des techniques pour ajuster ou manipuler des réglages d'un dispositif destinataire à l'aide d'un terminal d'affichage indépendant présentant une connexion sans fil temporaire, plutôt que d'utiliser un dispositif mobile apparié avec une liaison sans fil persistante. Plus précisément, selon certains aspects présentés ici, des technologies de communication sans fil sont exploitées pour fournir une interface spécifique à un dispositif interactif pour permettre à un destinataire de commander des réglages opérationnels du dispositif destinataire à l'aide du terminal d'affichage indépendant.
