Abstract[English]
Systems and methods for analyzing wheel spin and rotation for vehicle navigation. In one implementation, a system includes a processor programmed to receive a plurality of images acquired by an image capture device associated with the host vehicle, wherein the plurality of images are representative of an environment of the host vehicle; analyze at least two of the plurality of images to identify a representation of at least one wheel in the at least two of the plurality of images; analyze the at least two of the plurality of images to determine whether the at least one wheel is spinning; and cause the host vehicle to initiate at least one navigational action in response to the determination of whether the at least one wheel is spinning.[French]
L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés d'analyse de giration et de rotation de roue pour la navigation d'un véhicule. Selon un mode de réalisation, un système comprend un processeur programmé pour recevoir une pluralité d'images acquises par un dispositif de capture d'image associé au véhicule hôte, la pluralité d'images étant représentatives d'un environnement du véhicule hôte ; analyser au moins deux images de la pluralité d'images pour identifier une représentation d'au moins une roue dans lesdites au moins deux images de la pluralité d'images ; analyser lesdites au moins deux images de la pluralité d'images pour déterminer si ladite au moins une roue est en giration ; et amener le véhicule hôte à lancer au moins une action de navigation en réponse à la détermination du fait que ladite au moins une roue est en giration.
