Abstract[English]
Systems and methods for enhancing the capacity, treatment, or purifying gas of an anaerobic bioreactor used for wastewater treatment are presented. The limitations associated to the retention of granular sludge are overcome by providing a densified aggregate selector that is used to return the granules back to the bioreactor when washed away with the effluent or by selectively wasting flocculent sludge from the contents of the bioreactor furthering the retention of granular sludge. Means of further enhancing granule retention using a support, the granules separator and an auxiliary bioreactor are presented.[French]
L'invention concerne des systèmes et procédés pour améliorer la capacité, le traitement ou la purification de gaz d'un bioréacteur anaérobie utilisé pour le traitement des eaux usées. Les limitations associées à la rétention de boues granulaires sont surmontées en fournissant un dispositif de sélection de granulat densifié qui est utilisé pour renvoyer les granules vers le bioréacteur lorsqu'elles sont lavées avec l'effluent, ou en mettant au rebut de manière sélective des boues floculantes à partir du contenu du bioréacteur, ce qui favorise la rétention de boues granulaires. L'invention concerne des moyens d'amélioration supplémentaire de la rétention de granules à l'aide d'un support, du séparateur de granules et d'un bioréacteur auxiliaire.
