Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods, apparatuses, and devices for wireless communication. A user equipment (UE) may transmit (1102) a request message associated with a data connection to support transmission of ambient internet of things (AIoT) data, wherein the UE is an intermediate node for the transmission of AIoT data. The UE may receive (1104) a response message comprising a configuration associated with the data connection to support the transmission of AIoT data.[French]
