There is provided a user equipment comprising means for: sending, to an access and mobility management function, a requested size of one or more parameters associated with an authentication procedure; receiving, from the access and mobility management function information indicating a size of the one or more parameters; deriving the one or more parameters based on the determined size of the one or more parameters; and sending, to the access and mobility management function, an authentication message comprising a first output parameter, wherein the first output parameter is one of the derived one or more parameters.[French]
L'invention concerne un équipement d'utilisateur comprenant des moyens pour : envoyer, à une fonction de gestion d'accès et de mobilité, une taille demandée d'un ou de plusieurs paramètres associés à une procédure d'authentification ; recevoir, en provenance de la fonction de gestion d'accès et de mobilité, des informations indiquant une taille desdits paramètres ; dériver lesdits paramètres sur la base de la taille déterminée desdits paramètres; et envoyer, à la fonction de gestion d'accès et de mobilité, un message d'authentification comprenant un premier paramètre de sortie, le premier paramètre de sortie étant l'un desdits paramètres dérivés.
