A method, apparatus and computer program is described comprising: obtaining information, said information being associated with one or more transmissions from a terminal device, said terminal device comprising: means for transmitting data in first and second modes, wherein, in the first mode transmitting data comprises modulating said data on a backscattered signal, and wherein, in the second mode transmitting data comprises actively generating and transmitting a signal on which said data is modulated; selecting, based at least in part on said information, a mode of the first and second modes; and providing to said terminal device an instruction to operate in the selected mode for one or more transmissions.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé, un appareil et un programme d'ordinateur comprenant : l'obtention d'informations, lesdites informations étant associées à une ou plusieurs émissions à partir d'un dispositif terminal, ledit dispositif terminal comprenant : des moyens pour émettre des données dans de premier et second modes, dans le premier mode, l'émission de données comprenant la modulation desdites données sur un signal rétrodiffusé, et, dans le second mode, l'émission de données comprenant la génération active et l'émission d'un signal sur lequel lesdites données sont modulées ; la sélection, sur la base, au moins en partie, desdites informations, d'un mode des premier et second modes ; et la fourniture audit dispositif terminal d'une instruction pour fonctionner dans le mode sélectionné pour une ou plusieurs émissions.
