Abstract[English]
Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to a counter mechanism for discarding data packet sets. An apparatus, such as a user equipment (UE), receives a data packet associated with a set of data packets for transmission (e.g., a service data unit (SDU) of a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) protocol data unit (PDU) set). The UE initiates a timer corresponding to reception of the data packet based on receiving the data packet. The UE increments a counter associated with the set of data packets based on a determination that the timer has expired. The UE discards the data packet of the set of data packets based on the counter satisfying a threshold value and a configuration associated with the discarding of the data packet. In some examples, the base station transmits first signaling to the UE that indicates the timer and/or second signaling that indicates the configuration.[French]
Divers aspects de la présente divulgation concernent un mécanisme de compteur pour rejeter des ensembles de paquets de données.
