A method of monitoring a commodity within a container includes receiving hub data from a hub sensor of a cable hub, receiving sensor node data from a sensor node of a cable coupled to the cable hub, analyzing the hub data and the sensor node data via at least one machine learning model; and based at least partially on the analysis of the hub data and the sensor node data, determining whether the sensor node of the cable is in a commodity within the container or out of the commodity within the container.
