A multi-piece implant is configured for implantation in a patient and includes a first component and a second component. The first component is made of a first material and includes an inner surface and an outer surface opposite the inner surface. The inner surface includes a recessed surface portion. The second component is made of a second material different from the first material and is sized such that a first portion of the second component is receivable in the recessed surface portion such that it is covered by the first component.[French]
La présente invention concerne un implant en plusieurs parties conçu pour une implantation chez un patient et qui comprend un premier composant et un deuxième composant. Le premier composant est constitué d'un premier matériau et comprend une surface interne et une surface externe opposée à la surface interne.
