A fastener deployment system including a fastener and a tool. The fastener including a plurality of side surfaces and an end surface abutting each side surface of the plurality of side surfaces. Each side surface of the plurality of side surfaces being curved. The tool including a shaft and a gripping portion extending from the shaft, the gripping portion including a plurality of internally facing surfaces that define an opening in the gripping portion. Wherein when the gripping portion of the holding instrument is advanced over the head of the fastener, each internally facing surface of the plurality of internally facing surfaces has a contour that complements a respective side surface of the plurality of side surfaces.[French]
L'invention concerne un système de déploiement d'élément de fixation comprenant un élément de fixation et un outil. L'élément de fixation comprend une pluralité de surfaces latérales et une surface d'extrémité venant en butée contre chaque surface latérale de la pluralité de surfaces latérales.
