Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to receiving, from a first cell, broadcast signaling comprising a configuration for requesting a first system information block (SIB1) of the second cell. Aspects of the present disclosure may relate to transmitting a first random-access message (Msg1) that indicates a request for the SIB1 of the second cell. Aspects of the present disclosure may relate to monitoring for the SIB1 of the second cell based at least in part on a reception of a second random-access message (Msg2) and evaluating cell reselection based at least in part on a reception of the SIB1.[French]
