Abstract[English] The present invention discloses a display system with a frontplane which is capable of modulating lights to create images and back light for generating lights and colors, a display with a full-color back light array and frontplane monochrome light modulating array having a low power mode and also front plane light modulation element enabled to improve the resolution by modulating brightness of areas in each pixel associated with a lower resolution image.[French] La présente invention divulgue un système d'affichage avec un plan frontal qui est capable de moduler des lumières pour créer des images et une lumière arrière pour générer des lumières et des couleurs, un affichage avec un réseau de lumière arrière pleine couleur et un réseau de modulation de lumière monochrome de plan frontal ayant un mode de faible puissance et également un élément de modulation de lumière de plan frontal activé pour améliorer la résolution par modulation de la luminosité de zones dans chaque pixel associé à une image de résolution inférieure.
