Abstract[English]
A fungicidal composition according to present disclosure comprises an essential oil derived from Pistacia atlantica including alpha-pinene, at least one surfactant, and at least one fatty acid. The composition is effective in rupturing fungal cell walls and demonstrates efficacy against multiple fungi. The composition may be formulated as an emulsion suitable for spray application. A method of preparation, involving extraction of the essential oil and mixing with surfactants and fatty acids, is also disclosed. The disclosed fungicidal composition eliminates the requirement for a preharvest interval (PHI).[French]
Une composition fongicide selon la présente divulgation contient une huile essentielle dérivée de Pistacia atlantica contenant de l'alpha-pinène, au moins un tensioactif et au moins un acide gras. La composition est efficace dans la rupture de parois cellulaires fongiques et se révèle efficace contre de multiples champignons. La composition peut être formulée sous la forme d'une émulsion appropriée pour une application par pulvérisation. Un procédé de préparation consistant à extraire l'huile essentielle et la mélanger avec des tensioactifs et des acides gras est également divulgué. La composition fongicide divulguée élimine la nécessité d'un intervalle pré-récolte (PHI).
