Presented herein are techniques for transmitting information between an implantable medical device and an external device over a far field wireless link during a surgical procedure. Methods include performing one or more intra-operative measurements and transmitting, by the implantable medical device, data representative of the one or more measurements (intra-operative measurement data) to the external device via a far field communication link.[French]
