An electrolyser comprising: a solid-state membrane; an ion-conductive electrolyte; a gas-electrolyte separator; and an anion exchange membrane ("AEM"). The electrolyser may be an anion exchange ("AE"), AEM, or alkaline electrolyser. An electrolyser comprising: an electrode; the electrode comprising a catalyst coating; the catalyst coating comprising micrometer-sized pores and/or a microporous internal structure. The electrode, micrometer- sized pores, and/or a microporous internal structure may be configured to increase gas release from the electrolyser. A method for manufacturing an electrode, the method comprising mixing a catalyst with a pore-forming agent to form a slurry.[French]
L'invention concerne un électrolyseur comprenant : une membrane à l'état solide ; un électrolyte conducteur d'ions ; un séparateur gaz-électrolyte ; et une membrane échangeuse d'anions (AEM). L'électrolyseur peut être un électrolyseur échangeur d'anions (AE), un électrolyseur AEM ou un électrolyseur alcalin. L'électrolyseur selon l'invention comprend : une électrode ; l'électrode comprenant un revêtement de catalyseur ; le revêtement de catalyseur comprenant des pores de taille micrométrique et/ou une structure interne microporeuse. L'électrode, les pores de taille micrométrique et/ou une structure interne microporeuse peuvent être conçus pour augmenter la libération de gaz de l'électrolyseur.
