Abstract[English]
Polycarbonate compositions having a low added fluorine content while also achieving a V-0 flame test rating at 1.5 mm or 1.2 mm include: 80-95 wt% of a homopolycarbonate composition including one or more homopolycarbonates, wherein an average of the weight average molecular weight of the homopolycarbonates is 26,000 g/mol or more; 5-20 wt% of a poly(carbonate-siloxane) having a siloxane content of 30-70 wt% present in an amount effective to provide 2-14 wt% siloxane repeating units based on the total weight of the composition, and having a weight average molecular weight of 26,000-50,000 g/mol, and having less than 1 wt% of a poly(carbonate-siloxane) having a siloxane content of less than 30 wt%; 2.5-10 wt% of a phosphazene flame retardant.[French]
L'invention concerne des compositions de polycarbonate ayant une faible teneur en fluor ajoutée tout en obtenant également une évaluation de test de flamme V-0 à 1,5 mm ou 1,2 mm qui comprennent : de 80 à 95% en poids d'une composition d'homopolycarbonate comprenant un ou plusieurs homopolycarbonates, une moyenne du poids moléculaire moyen en poids des homopolycarbonates étant de 26 000 g/mol ou plus ; de 5 à 20% en poids d'un poly (carbonate-siloxane) ayant une teneur en siloxane de 30 à 70% en poids présente en une quantité efficace pour fournir de 2 à 14% en poids de motifs de répétition de siloxane sur la base du poids total de la composition, et ayant un poids moléculaire moyen en poids de 26 000 à 50 000 g/mol, et ayant moins de 1% en poids d'un poly (carbonate-siloxane) ayant une teneur en siloxane inférieure à 30% en poids ; de 2,5 à 10% en poids d'un retardateur de flamme de phosphazène.
